Dark Mark Armwarmer
This is a gauntlet with the Dark Mark (a symbol of evil from the Harry Potter series) shadow-knit on the inside. It's the left arm only, as that is the appropriate placement for the Mark. If you want to make a (plain) right arm, you're welcome to, but you're on your own for switching the thumb around to the other side. I might make a match for it in the future, but not any time soon.
Gauge: 6 sts / 9 rows per inch in stockinette
U.S. 4 dpns
worsted weight yarn – 2 colors (I used Wool-Ease.)
MC – Black CC – Green

i'm not knitting this, i'm finally starting the film strip hat... but on dpns because i still can't find my circular and everyone's sold out of them at this point because apparently everyone else wanted to make hats for xmas and various other holidays... so hopefully it will still be okay :/. anyway.

my mom got this weird idea that i wouldn't want x-files 2 the movie for xmas... but it's okay because my brother hasn't gotten me a present yet (which works out well since i haven't knit him a present yet) so he can get me that. and then we can watch it. in all its weird and glory.
also, there is this yarn store in san mateo which is the next town over and it is awesome and they have 'social knitting' (tee hee) every week so hopefully i will have the opportunity to go before i leave again.
anyway, i'm on your blog to print the pattern so i thought i'd say HEYYYY. (etc).

ps. i always find the word verification function disorienting because not only are the words always written all squiggly, they're NOT REAL WORDS. it should be called "imitation word verification". that is all.
